The Kansas City Steak Company recently released a Steak Grilling App for Android devices to help you grill the perfect steak every time. The free app is available now, just in time for the pro football playoffs.

"Nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak and this app will take all the guesswork out of your grilling," said John McKinven, President, The Kansas City Steak Company. "Simply select your favorite cut of meat, from T-Bones, Strip Steaks and Filets and more, input the thickness of your steak and how well done you'd like it to be and the app's steak timer tells you exactly how long to cook the steak and when to flip it. No more disappointments. Each flavorful steak will be cooked to perfection."

In addition to the steak grilling timer, the app includes hundreds of steak recipes and a huge steak reference library. Features include:

  • Grill up to 6 steaks at one time.
  • Choose from 6 cuts of meat to cook.
  • The steak timer calculates cooking times for gas grills, charcoal grills or indoor cooking.
  • Steak-Enthusiast blog posts.
  • Top 10 Grilling Steak Tips – a handy guide to help you grill the perfect steak.
  • Shop KansasCitySteaks.com directly from the App.
