Jarrod McCarroll named new CEO of Weber Inc.

jarrod mccarrollJarrod McCarroll, a 12-year veteran of the food processing equipment industry, has become the CEO of Weber Inc., with responsibility for all North American operations of Weber GmbH, the world’s largest manufacturer of meat and cheese slicing technology.

McCarroll joins Weber following his most recent service as VP – Sales & Marketing at Marlen International, another Kansas City, MO-based company he joined in 2002. He has been an active participant in many of the industry’s most prominent trade associations, including the FPSA, MISA and PMMI.

McCarroll has also gained extensive regional sales and national account management experience working for a variety of industrial equipment, manufacturing companies following his graduation from Texas A&M University in 1994.

In making the announcement, Mathias Dülfer, CEO of Weber GmbH said, “We are pleased to add Jarrod’s talents and energy to our already successful North American team. We are confident that his ‘customer-first’ focus and obvious team-building skills will prove to be beneficial to North American processors, as well as to the professional and personal success of the Weber associates who continue to ‘Add the Value’ to our operations in America, Canada, Mexico and the Carribean.”

Weber manufactures a complete line of high-tech slicing machinery, as well as a wide variety of skinners, derinders, food robotics and ice machines. Founded in 1981, Weber operates three manufacturing facilities in Germany, as well as the North American Technology Center and demonstration facility in Kansas City, Mo.
