OSI announces the opening of its newest food plant in Riverside, California

OSI Group LLC celebrated the opening of its newest facility in Riverside, California on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. The 135,200-square-foot plant is located on over nine acres in this southern California city, which is approximately sixty miles east of Los Angeles. It is well positioned logistically to serve OSI’s growing customer needs in the western United States.

“We are very excited to open this new production facility in Riverside to support our growing customer needs in the west,” said Kevin Scott, executive vice president - North America, for the OSI Group. “We have assembled a very strong team of experienced and knowledgeable people to produce high quality food.”

OSI Riverside makes a variety of food products including fresh vegetables, salsas and beans. The initial staff includes fifty employees and the company anticipates this team to grow as the business expands.
