Pork rind leader assumes prominent snack food position

Rudolph Foods’ Mark Singleton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, accepted the role of Chairman of the Board of the Snack Food Association from outgoing Chairman Chip Mann, who served in that position since March 2013. Singleton will serve as Chairman for the 2014-2015 year.

The Snack Food Association (SFA) is the international trade association of the snack food industry representing snack manufacturers and suppliers. SFA serves as a voice for the snack food industry before government and provides support to its members through research, education and promotion. Founded in 1937, SFA represents over 400 companies worldwide.

Singleton laid out his objectives for the coming year, which include increasing membership and consumer education opportunities.

Singleton has been with Rudolph Foods Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of pork rinds, for more than 10 years. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Singleton draws on his experience of diverse marketing, sales and business development to create a platform for a variety of pork rinds and snacks to become a part of consumers every day happiness.

Singleton has been a member of the Snack Food Association since 1994. In his spare time he is an avid hunter, fisherman and cooking enthusiast. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1981. He resides in Trophy Club, Texas with his wife Cheri, near his three children and two grandchildren.
