Star Ranch Angus beef summer promotion celebrates 100% American beef

This summer, Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. is celebrating red, white and blue with a new Star Ranch Angus beef promotion focused on 100% Real. American. Beef.  The “100% American” promotion runs from June through August and is the second of three promotions in 2014 centered on the brand’s 100% commitment to customers and consumers. Tyson Fresh Meats is a subsidiary of Tyson Foods Inc.

“We’re proud of the fact that Star Ranch Angus beef is produced in the United States and know this is important to our consumers as well,” said Rick Janke, brand manager for Tyson Fresh Meats. “We want our consumers to know they can count on the Star Ranch Angus brand to deliver hand-selected, hand-trimmed quality Angus beef that’s tender and delicious every time.”

The “100% American” promotion includes several point-of-sale elements, such as ironman signs, “100% American” on-pack labels, wobblers, $1.00 off coupon/recipe cards and promotional hats for the meat department staff.

Additionally, Tyson Fresh Meatsis offering participants a chance to win a Weber® grill through a point-of-sale display contest. Participating retailers can submit photos of their Star Ranch Angus beef “100% American” promotion display for a chance to win. The top five winners will receive grills.
