A woman at a Jack Link’s distribution facility in Undrewood, Iowa, is reported to be in critical but stable condition after a workplace accident. The incident occurred over the weekend, and police dispatchers said that “a pallet fell on her head.”

The worker was taken to a hospital in Council Bluffs in serious condition for observation.

Kip Lindman, public relations manager for Link Snacks Inc. sent KETV this statement:

"A Link Snacks, Inc. team member at our Underwood, Iowa facility was injured on December 6. The team member was taken to Mercy Hospital and is being cared for by medical professionals.

At Link Snacks we think of employees as family. Their safety is our top priority. Our thoughts and prayers are with our colleague, and the company has been and remains in contact with their family.

We take this incident very seriously and are thoroughly investigating its causes."
