The American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) has hired Diana Dietz as its new communications manager. She joined the staff March 2. Dietz will manage all of the association’s communications and social media efforts. She will also manage the American Cured Meats Championship.

AAMP Executive Director Marty Manion said Dietz’s hiring would be essential in getting the organization’s message across to its members and the public.

“I am very pleased that Diana Dietz has joined AAMP as our new communications manager. She brings an extensive career history of communications and association management coupled with an exciting energy,” Manion said.

“We will now be much better able to tell our members and the public about the many worthwhile initiatives and programs in which AAMP is involved,” he added.

Before joining AAMP, Dietz served as the public relations and editorial manager for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, and has been the communications manager for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, one of the largest trade associations in Pennsylvania.

She is a graduate of Penn State University with both her Bachelor of Humanities and Master of Arts, in Communications.
