The Austin Company, an international design, engineering, construction and location consulting firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Charles (Charlie) H. Stevens to Vice President of Construction Services.

Charlie joined The Austin Company in 1977 and has over forty years of experience in construction services. He was promoted to Vice President and Atlanta Operations Manager in 2006 and then to Vice President and Project Executive – Southeast Region, in 2013. Prior to that, Charlie was Director of Construction Services, and Manager of Construction – Southeast Region. In addition to field construction supervision, Charlie’s practical experience and counsel have made major contributions to Austin’s design-only contracts. His areas of expertise include: construction management, construction supervision, scheduling, safety program management and quality control.

Charlie’s industry experience includes: aerospace and aviation, food processing, office buildings, education, newspapers, television/radio, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, product control laboratories, clean room environments and micro-electronic facilities.

Charlie received his higher education from St. Louis University and Southeast Iowa College, and he holds a General Contractor License in both Florida and Tennessee.
