AdvancePierre Foods (APF) has added two breakfast sandwiches — 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit and Breakfast Stacker — to its BIG AZ line. Each sandwich is served on a homestyle, fresh-made buttermilk biscuit; the 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit features two sausage patties and two slices of cheese, and the Breakfast Stacker features sausage, bacon, egg and cheese. The hand-assembled sandwiches are individually labeled and wrapped in butcher paper. The sandwiches have a 14-day refrigerated, nine-month frozen shelf life and can be sold hot from a sandwich warmer or microwaved on demand from a cold case. The sandwiches are packed in eight-count cases.
