Allen Harim names Joe Moran as Executive Director of Operations

Allen Harim, a leading producer and processor of chicken on Delmarva, has hired poultry industry veteran Joe Moran as Executive Director of Operations. Moran will oversee operational strategies for the company’s Harbeson and Cordova facilities, as well as quality and food safety, transportation, environmental, and strategic sourcing departments.

Moran joins Allen Harim with more than 30 years of experience in the poultry industry. With a proven track record in senior management, he most recently served as Chief Operations Officer at Mountaire Farms in Millsboro, Del.

“We are excited to bring Joe’s experience, industry depth and knowledge into Allen Harim,” said Steve Evans, CEO. “In these first early days he has already made a valuable impact in support of the company’s strategic plan.”

Moran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from James Madison University. He resides in Ocean View, Del., and is originally from the Boston area.
