Corbion Purac’s global network of experts in meat and poultry science, food safety and preservation continues to grow: the company has hired Casey Weber, PhD, as Technical Services Manager, Sales.

“As part of our Technical Services team, Casey will work closely with our meat customers to create solutions for their most challenging situations,” said Celeste Daughenbaugh, Director of Meat & Food Sales North America. “His production and research expertise and experience in everything from harvest intervention to data analysis will add great value to our customer partnerships.”

The Corbion Technical Services team works hand-in-hand with customers to provide customized application support, formulation advice, product development, microbiology studies, predictive modeling tools and more.

“Working together, we can improve food safety through intervention innovation, validation and verification research,” said Weber. “I take a data-driven, problem-solving approach to driving business growth, and I look forward to working with customers and being part of Corbion’s leading network of technical resources.”

Weber holds a doctorate in human nutrition from Kansas State University. He also received a masters degree in food microbiology and an undergraduate degree in food science at K-State.
