The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) today announced it signed an agreement of mutual cooperation with Messe Frankfurt, the owner of the world famous IFFA trade show, in support of both organizations' trade show events. This is the third agreement that FPSA has signed in recent years following comparable accords with Messe Dusseldorf (interpack) and Messe Nurnberg (Beviale), organizers of similar prominent international trade fairs representing complementary segments of the food and beverage industry. By partnering with these world class organizations, PROCESS EXPO strengthens its ability to meet and service the needs of show attendees and exhibitors in the food processing and packaging arena.

"PROCESS EXPO 2017 will benefit greatly from this agreement thanks in large part to promotion from Messe Frankfurt's offices, not just in Germany and the rest of Europe, but also Asia, and the Middle East," said Tom Kittle, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and President of Handtmann Inc and Handtmann Canada Limited. "This cooperation with IFFA correlates exceptionally well with existing agreements with our Dusseldorf and Nurnberg partners, and further solidifies PROCESS EXPO's position as North America's largest food and beverage processing and packaging event.

"These agreements highlight PROCESS EXPO's strength as a horizontal trade show event covering all segments of the food and beverage industry," said Bill McPhail, Chairman of the FPSA Show Committee and President of MAX Engineering. "By bringing in partners that are strong in non-competing segments, we strengthen the overall event by greatly enhancing the opportunities for cross pollination of technology and ideas. This benefits not just the show but also our exhibitors and attendee base as they are exposed to innovations and solutions they cannot find at another event."

David Seckman, CEO/President of the Food Processing Suppliers Association added that "This new strategic partnership between IFFA and PROCESS EXPO adds tremendous value and benefits for show attendees at both trade shows. The newly combined additional resources from both organizations will result in attendees being able to attend increased and more extensive educational sessions, special events/receptions, and networking opportunities as well as seeing more international exhibitors."

PROCESS EXPO 2017 will take place from September 19-22, 2017 at Chicago's McCormick Place. For more information about the show please visit www.myprocessexpo.com.
