MULTIVAC, Inc. welcomes Cody Allen to the MULTIVAC family as one of the Field Service Technicians, focusing on the Northeast Region of United States market. Allen brings a very diverse but pointed background that will allow him to step into his new position and make an immediate impact.

Allen comes to MULTIVAC with a wealth of experience, having worked as a Field Service Technician for National Service Gulf Packaging. In this role, he was responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing of industrial packaging machines. Prior to this, Allen was in the United States Army where he was responsible for repairing and replacing all systems and components for the tank systems.

As a Field Service Technician for MULTIVAC, Allen will work directly with customers to identify issues they are experiencing and resolving these issues quickly to allow the machine to return to production. He will also work with customers on new installations by ensuring the machine is operational and the functioning correctly from the first day. Another key aspect of the Field Service Technician position is the training of staff that will be operating the equipment to all customers to get the most out of their MULTIVAC equipment.

Rich DiGiacomo, Northeast Regional Service Manager said, “As we continue investing in the growth of our Field Service Technician program, MULTIVAC is excited to add Cody to our team. Cody will fit right in with his experience and his ability to think quickly and work to resolve any issues our customer might be experiencing. We are confident that Cody will make a great addition to the MULTIVAC family and we know he will have a very bright future.”

MULTIVAC continues to develop new products and services that meet the changing needs of the packaging industry. In the past two years, regional sales offices have been opened in California and New Jersey to bring sales coverage and service closer to the customer. Another regional office is scheduled to open in North Carolina in the summer of 2016. Additionally, the US headquarters is currently renovating the offices in Kansas City to include a 32,000 square-foot addition. This allows MULTIVAC to further expand upon manufacturing capabilities. The renovation will include a new, state-of-the-art innovation and demonstration area, allowing customers to have hands-on experience with new and emerging MULTIVAC equipment, as well as serving as a training facility for new and returning customers.
