In this video press conference series, West Liberty Foods celebrated being certified a landfill-free company at the Bolingbrook, Ill. facility where a number of speakers highlighted the process and thanked the participants.

Jamie Bush, Sustainability Business Development Manager at NSF International: First of all, I would like to say thank you all for inviting me here today. Congratulations on this amazing achievement. I’m Jamie Bush, the business development manager for the sustainability department at NSF International. For those of you that don’t know, besides the fact that we’re a third party certification body, we are a public health safety company. Our mission and focus has always been protecting and improving human health. So on behalf of NSF, I would like to thank West Liberty Foods for helping us execute this mission. Through your environmental management systems as well as your landfill-free certifications, you’re a true leader in your industry, and we are truly grateful for the partnership we’ve created over these many years.

Landfill-free certification is no easy task. It takes a lot of time, dedication and teamwork. With that being said, I would like to present the first certificate for West Liberty Foods’ Bolingbrook Facilities.

[Applause]

And now for the second certificate, [I would like to present to] Liberty Cold.

[Applause]
