A driver for a subsidiary of Greater Omaha Packing Co. was killed last week when he apparently was pinned between his truck and the trailer he was hooking up. The Omaha World-Herald reports that Robert Williams II, 29 years old and a driver for Greater Omaha Express, was found next to a semitrailer truck.

Greater Omaha said “several regulatory bodies” would investigate the cause of the accident, and that it wouldn’t speculate on a cause before the investigations were complete.

“Everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of our team member and everyone affected by this tragedy,” said Brett Falgione, president of Greater Omaha Express, in a statement given to The World-Herald.

Police are investigating the death as an accident.
