OTTAWA, Ontario – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued another recall for sandwiches containing deli meats, adding to the list that have been pulled off shelves because of a listeriosis outbreak.

The agency reportedly said Thursday that that several types of cooked ham and salami submarine sandwiches sold at Sobeys, Foodland and IGA stores in Ontario could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. There have been no reported illnesses connected with the products

The CFIA also issued a recall for Kirkland Signature brand platters sold at Costco stores. The recalled products include Kirkland Signature Croissant Platter, with best-before dates up to and including Aug. 28, and Kirkland Signature Meat and Cheese Platter, with best-before dates up to and including Aug. 29.

Costco has not responded to emails asking if the recall applies only to Canadian locations.
