OMAHA, Neb. – ConAgra Foods Inc. on Monday announced the promotion of Bill Hahn Jr. to vice president, finance for the corporation.

Hahn, 37, joined ConAgra in 1993 in the corporate finance group and transitioned into corporate strategic development in 1996.

Hahn will focus on the areas of enterprise strategy, financial planning & analysis, and mergers & acquisitions.

“This role is a natural transition for Bill, who has many years of experience in finance and strategy positions,” said André Hawaux, executive vice president and chief financial officer. “Most recently, Bill was vice president, strategic analysis identifying key issues and opportunities for our business. Prior to that, he led mergers and acquisitions for commercial products.”

Hahn earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of NebraskaOmaha.
