FPSA sets dates for 2013, 2015 Process Expo shows

The Food Processing Suppliers Association announced today it has reached an agreement with Chicago’s Convention and Tourism Bureau that will keep the association’s trade show, Process Expo, in Chicago for the foreseeable future. In 2013 the show will be held October 14-17, while the 2015 show dates will be October 6-9.

“With Process Expo 2011 rapidly approaching the 200,000 square foot mark, it is important to show our exhibitors, attendees, and partners that we remain firmly committed to a two year show cycle, in the fall, in Chicago” said Scott Scriven, chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and president of Weber Inc.

“The response and the commitment from our membership and the entire industry has been remarkable, and to honor that commitment it is important that FPSA show, that without question, Process Expo is here to stay,” noted David Seckman, president and CEO of FPSA.

Process Expo is the biennial trade show where qualified buyers representing every market of the food industry from more than 75 countries meet face to face with suppliers showcasing the newest developments in food equipment and technology. Exhibitors are able to demonstrate state-of-the-art food processing and packaging equipment in baking, beverage, dairy, fruit and vegetable, and meat/poultry.

Registration for the Chicago-based Process Expo 2011 (November 1-4, 2011) is now open. Companies interested in exhibiting in Process Expo 2011 should contact Grace Cular Yee, FPSA director of sales at gyee@fpsa.org. A complete list of exhibitors and the updated floor plan for Process Expo 2011 can be found at www.myprocessexpo.com.
