Cargill resumes production at Arkansas turkey plant

Cargill Meat Solutions announced that it has resumed limited production at its Springdale, Ark., turkey processing plant. Production was halted earlier this month when the plant became linked to an outbreak of Salmonella-related sicknesses that have left 107 people sickened and one dead.

Cargill spokesman Mike Martin says limited production has resumed after the U.S. Department of Agriculture approved additional anti-bacterial safety measures, reports the Washington Post.
