Gold’n Plump to give away $10,000 in gold

Gold'n Plump brand has launched its Gold’n Chicken Challenge, a consumer promotion worth $10,000 in gold. From October 3 through December 11, 2011, consumers will find a promotional code on specially marked Gold’n Plump packages. Each code offers an entry for the Gold’n Chicken grand prize and an opportunity to unlock weekly recipes, "chickenalities" and prizes.

Over the next 10 weeks, five random winners will unlock the Gold’n Chicken and earn the weekly prize, such as a Weber One-Touch Charcoal Grill, Delsey Luggage set, $250 Party City gift card, KitchenAid Mixer, Breville Juicer or Toaster Oven, Amazon Kindle, Nikon camera or other themed giveaways. If consumers do not have the weekly winning code, they may still win the grand prize, since each code entered online goes into the grand prize drawing. The grand prize winner of the $10,000 in real gold will be randomly drawn at the end of the promotion in December 2011.

"The Gold'n Chicken Challenge is a fun and family-friendly contest that makes everyone a winner. All participants will save money with the on-pack coupon, and they'll gain access to flavorsome Gold'n Plump recipes that vary based on the weekly chickenalities," said Rory Bidinger, Gold'n Plump brand advocacy & marketing manager.

Shoppers are encouraged to select their favorite Gold'n Plump product with the Gold’n Chicken Challenge sticker each week. Upon entering the code, sweepstakes participants will unlock new weekly "chickenality" characters, such as Rocky the Gameday Chicken and Kate the Healthy Chicken. Each of the "chickenalities" delivers a chicken recipe tailored to their chicken personality. Free Gold'n Chicken Challenge recipes are wholesome, delicious and crafted by Gold'n Plump culinary experts.
