Birko chairman named "Influential Young Professional"

Birko announced that its chairman and owner, Kelly Green, has been named to the “Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals” list by ColoradoBiz magazine. The program recognizes outstanding Colorado business and community leaders under the age of 39.

“We’re extremely proud of Kelly for receiving this honor,” said Mark Swanson, Birko’s CEO. “As the third-generation owner and chairman of Birko, Kelly has made an invaluable contribution to the success of our company, and to our industry.”

Each finalist represents the diversity of Colorado and includes those who have made significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities. Green is one of two women serving on the National Meat Association’s board of directors.
