Jimmy Dean launches breakfast quesadillas

Kicking off Frozen Food Month, Jimmy Dean announced the launch of a new line of frozen breakfast products - Jimmy Dean Breakfast Quesadillas - giving busy families a quick and easy way to enjoy a delicious, Mexican-inspired breakfast with protein. Made with Jimmy Dean pork or turkey sausage, families looking for a warm and satisfying breakfast can now spice up their morning meal with a convenient new option that is ready to eat from the microwave in three minutes, Sara Lee announced.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Quesadillas are available in two varieties, Jimmy Dean Sausage Quesadilla with pork sausage and Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Quesadilla, a better-for-you option that contains 250 calories and half the fat of the leading breakfast sandwich.

The Jimmy Dean Sausage Quesadilla combines Jimmy Dean sausage with eggs and cheese in a flour tortilla. Each serving contains 290 calories, 16 grams of fat and 13 grams of protein. The Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Quesadilla combines Jimmy Dean turkey sausage with egg whites and cheese in a flour tortilla. Each serving contains 250 calories, 10 grams of fat and 15 grams of protein.

"The introduction of Jimmy Dean Sausage Quesadillas and Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Quesadillas into our frozen breakfast portfolio brings some new variety to the breakfast table while making it easier for families to get a great start to the day with a quick and flavorful protein breakfast."
