Two miles of material handling systems, 50,000 individual crate locations, 5,000 pallet locations fully automated for processing 2,000 hogs / day, 300 head of cattle with cutting and deboning, further processing as well as direct store distribution to 1,000 retail stores every night. CSB-System International is organizing a tour of EDEKA Rheinstetten, the most modern processing facility in Europe. The plant operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it utilizes CSB System’s software solutions throughout, from warehouse management to production planning.

Over the course of the seminar, attendees will hear from the CEO on how the project got started, from the architects that planned and build it and from the leading providers of equipment and computer technology that executed this project. The seminar will be held on May 2nd and 3rd, two days before IFFA starts. The plant is located approx. 1 hour outside of Frankfurt.
