Leading Food System Companies Finalize Sale: Expanding Customer Base In the Further-Processing Market

Stork Food Systems has finalized the sale and acquisition of Townsend Engineering. Together, the two companies form the world’s largest provider of innovative and reliable meat-processing systems for their customers.

The acquisition of Townsend is a strategic fit for both companies. Stork Food Systems, a key business unit of Stork NV, will expand its customer base in the further-processing market, especially in the red meat sector. At the same time, it will allow both companies to offer a wide array of further-processing equipment and systems to its customers. From the RevoPortioner, more than the current forming technology, to the QX Quality Coextrusion system, a combination of process and product created to alter the state of sausage making, Stork Food Systems has the know-how and expertise to meet all of its customer’s needs.
