Multivac brings leading technology back to Poultry Expo

Multivac has announced its return to the International Poultry Expo (IPE), January 26-28 in Atlanta, Ga. Attendees will find Multivac packaging technology on display at booths 6155/6159 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The company will present and demonstrate “saddlepack” packaging as its key highlight for the benefit of IPE attendees.

“Saddlepack is a proven winner for poultry processors and consumers across multiple product types and in a variety of retail environments,” says Matt Malott, director of Multivac’s key account group. “At club stores, discount retailers and traditional supermarkets, this versatile package empowers poultry processors to deliver greater value and convenience in a manner that is recognized and appreciated by consumers. We’re delighted to return to IPE to discuss this powerful concept with visitors to our booth.”

Saddlepack packaging is available in a variety of configurations. It provides multiple hermetically sealed package compartments connected by perforated film. Consumers enjoy the advantage of buying in larger quantities with the freedom to use some immediately and refrigerate or freeze unopened sections for later use. Processors benefit from the highly efficient and hygienic loading process made possible with horizontal thermoform packaging technology. They are also able to move much larger volumes of product in a SKU while maintaining and even improving brand identification.

Multivac packaging professionals will be on hand to discuss this and other technologies ideal for poultry processors including vacuum chamber pouch sealers, tray sealers, labeling and complete automation solutions.
