A fifth farm in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley has placed under quarantine for avian influenza. The most recent farm was quarantined after a farmer reported a higher number of turkey deaths than usual on Friday. The farm houses about 60,000 turkeys, reports CTV News.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said that more than 140,000 turkeys and chickens from the affected farms will be euthanized.
