The South Dakota State University College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences is beefing up its program, reports the Tri-State Neighbor. The college added a minor in precision ag last year and will add a minor in meat science and a major in food science this fall.
“With all we’ve been hearing about the world’s population growing, one thing we know is that all those people will need food,” said Dr. Don Marshall, associate dean for academic programs at the SDSU College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences.
