Greenland Trading Corp., a Paterson, N.J., establishment, is recalling approximately 12,672 pounds of squab (domesticated pigeon) produced in France that were not presented at the U.S. point of entry for inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. Without the benefit of full inspection, a possibility of adverse health consequences exists.
The squabs were imported from a French establishment not eligible to export meat or poultry product to the United States on June 21, 2014; August 16, 2014; and February 16, 2015. The following products are subject to recall:
