PM Beef, Southwest Minnesota’s last beef processor, has announced that it will close town its plant in Windom, reports The Daily Globe. The company broke the news during meetings with employees this week and announced that the company’s last day in operation will be December 11.
Windom City Administrator Steve Nasby said he had a brief conversation with PM Windom’s Vice President of Operations Lisa Hernandez Monday morning, but “very little” information was made available. He also tried to reach the facility in the afternoon, but phone calls weren’t answered.
