The North American Meat Institute (NAMI) announced details for two technology-focused free education programs at the 2018 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE), scheduled to take place January 30 - February 1, 2018, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The “Robotics in the Meat and Poultry Industry: Putting Technology to Work” session will examine the current status and future direction of robotics in the meat and poultry industry, and will include a panel discussion with processors who are already implementing these technologies. The workshop, which will take place Wednesday, January 31, from 8 to 10 a.m., will feature Clyde Campbell, regional director, Scott Automation and Robotics, and Craig Souser, president, JLS Automation.
