Two Run Farm, which supplied wild boar meat to Louisiana restaurants and markets under its own name and later as Charlie Sausage, has shut down. The New Orleans Advocate is reporting that one of the company’s former customers, which is affiliated with a New Orleans restaurant, is accusing the company and its owner of fraud.
Two Run Farm was owned by Charlie Munford, who also operated the affiliated Springfield Slaughter House business. That facility, which has also closed down, was the only Louisiana company producing commercial boar meat.
