Diestel Family Ranch is expanding its lineup of thoughtfully-raised products for grocery and foodservice to include new antibiotic-free Uncured Black Forest and Uncured Maple-Honey Ham Slices. Delivering handcrafted, artisanal flavors, the deli meats feature an easy-to-understand ingredient list and are made from butcher-quality, whole-muscle meat (no fillers), giving them an authentic taste and natural appearance that customers notice and appreciate.
To ensure the quality of their products, Diestel partners with small family farms who share their values of treating animals with respect and doing things the right way, without compromise. The deli slices start with pork from sustainably-raised pigs given individual care, a 100% vegetarian diet, plenty of fresh air, and room to roam. The black forest ham is seasoned with coriander, juniper berries, and a hint of garlic, while the maple-honey ham features a light drizzle of maple syrup and honey for a perfect blend of savory and sweet. Both are completely free of antibiotics, artificial ingredients, preservatives, nitrates, nitrites, gluten, carrageen, casein, phosphates, and MSG. They’re also higher in protein and contain less sodium than conventional brands.
