WASHINGTON – The U.S. House of Representatives last week passed an E-Verify bill which would reauthorize the program for five years.
Reports also said that the bill provides for two General Accounting Office (GAO) studies and ensure that the Social Security Administration received appropriate compensation from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for their involvement in the program.
