Richard Childress Sausage off to the races
To more than 75 million NASCAR fans, Richard Childress is best known as a nine-time championship team owner. In the beverage industry, he has also been successful with the Childress Vineyards brand. Now, in partnership with J Bar B Foods, his new Richard Childress Signature Series line of premium sausages is branching out into the backyards and kitchens of American race fans.
The Richard Childress Signature Series debuts in leading retail food stores across the country with three varieties of premium sausage products: Premium Pork & Beef Smoked Sausage; Premium Pork Smoked Sausage; and Premium Hot and Spicy Pork & Beef Smoked Sausage. The packaging of the sausage rings will feature a photo of Childress on the front with the familiar "RC" logo.
"The Signature Series of premium sausages started out by me just wanting to have some sausage produced for Childress Vineyards,” says Childress, president and chief executive officer of Richard Childress Racing (RCR). “I have a great deal of respect for Danny Janecka and the folks at J Bar B Foods, and after finding out what a great company it is, I decided to market our sausages to a wider audience. These surpass any sausages I've ever had, and I think the public will think so, too. I've always tried to align myself with the right people, whether it's in racing, wine-making, or anything else I've done, and I feel like I've done that again with J Bar B Foods and the Richard Childress Signature Series of sausages."
Focused on tradition
J Bar B Foods manufactures the Richard Childress Signature Series Foods' products in their USDA-inspected processing facility. For more than 45 years, J Bar B Foods has stood for the very best in quality sausage and specialty food products, the company relays. J Bar B uses the most advanced technology available, ensuring consistent product quality and the highest level of food safety. J Bar B Foods is the first packaged food company in the United States to manufacture smoked sausage utilizing the revolutionary new QX co-extrusion process.
This process provides the added value of significantly increasing the shelf life of the sausage while ensuring food safety by cooking the product in the package. J Bar B uses only the best ingredients available, along with many of the traditional family recipes closely guarded and used over the span of four decades.
"We are proud to partner with the legendary Richard Childress," says Danny Janecka, chief executive office of J Bar B Foods. "The combination of our company's proud heritage of producing premium quality products combined with an American sports icon like Richard Childress is a winning team for your next outdoor cookout or family meal."
