1. Tyson Launches Any’tizers

Tyson Foods, Inc. has introduced a new line of restaurant-style frozen snacks called Tyson® Any’tizers, which can be consumed as appetizers, a snack or a light meal. The new line includes Buffalo Style Boneless Chicken Wyngs, Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken Wyngs, Cheddar & Jalapeño Chicken Bites, Cheddar & Bacon Chicken Bites, Homestyle Chicken Fries and Ranch Flavored Chicken Fries. The Any’tizers line also includes some of Tyson’s existing snack products, such as Barbeque Style Chicken Wings and Popcorn Chicken.

2. SPAM leaves the can

Just when you thought there was nothing more SPAM could do, Hormel Foods has developed SPAM Singles, which offer the distinct taste of SPAM in a convenient, single-serving foil pouch. SPAM Singles are fully cooked and ready-to-eat, with no refrigeration needed, and come in two 3-ounce varieties: SPAM Single Classic and SPAM Single Lite. The Lite variety features less fat and sodium and fewer calories per serving.

This new annual reception will celebrate the Meat Industry Hall of Fame Class of 2023 inductees in person during the AAMP American Convention of Meat Processors & Suppliers’ Exhibition in Omaha, Nebraska.
