Nu-Meat: Heavy Duty Industrial Food Processing Equipment

Nu-Meat, now in its 23rd year, is a premier New Jersey-based supplier of heavy-duty industrial food processing and packaging solutions. It supplies and services a range of machinery to its customers in the US, Mexico and Canada through a network of leading-edge international partners who invest in developing new and better ways of helping processors achieve their production goals.

Nu-Meat supplies a range of industrial injection machines, tumblers, emulsifiers, tenderizers, brine mixers, grinders, cutters and now in-line packaging systems to some of the leading food processing manufacturers. Led by industry veterans Manfred Unfired, John Sbraga and David Enders, Nu-Meat has added Jose Prego as Director of Food Science. Nu-Meat has 150 years of combined senior management experience which is backed by the support of its suppliers.

The emphasis of Nu-Meat is on “industrial.” The processing equipment Nu-Meat supplies is heavy-duty high-end, built-to-last and aimed at major industrial processing plants where high throughputs and 24-hour operations are standard. Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and vendors is key to Nu-Meat’s philosophy. After sales service is critical for Nu-Meat, or, as VP David Enders puts it, “What you do after the sale shows what kind of company you are.”

Nu-Meat’s vendors include Metalquimia, the Spanish manufacturer of the world’s most durable injection machines. Like Metalquimia, many of Nu-Meat’s suppliers have been developing and perfecting new technologies for several years. These include Inotec, high tech suppliers of emulsifiers and sausage cutting systems, Germos smokehouse and chill house manufacturers, Laska cutters and grinders and brine mixers and storage systems from leading Italian manufacturer Menozzi. Today, Nu-Meat is also providing its customers with VisionPak horizontal form-fill-seal machines that reduce operating costs while improving hygiene and production.

This new annual reception will celebrate the Meat Industry Hall of Fame Class of 2023 inductees in person during the AAMP American Convention of Meat Processors & Suppliers’ Exhibition in Omaha, Nebraska.
