Integrated Management Information Inc., a leading provider of verification and Internet solutions for the agricultural/livestock industry under the Where Food Comes From(R) brand, today announced that its president, Leann Saunders, was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the U.S. Meat Export Federation at the USMEF's 35th Anniversary Strategic Planning Conference.

The USMEF is responsible for developing international markets for the U.S. red meat industry and is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and a variety of other livestock and commodities organizations.

"A strong officer team is critical to the success of USMEF," said President and CEO Philip Seng. "And the leadership we have in place for the coming year possesses tremendous depth and experience while representing a wide range of agricultural interests."

Leann Saunders added, "I am delighted to join the executive team of USMEF and continue contributing to the important work this organization performs on behalf of meat producers and packers throughout the United States. Our mission is to increase the value and profitability of the U.S. beef, pork, lamb and veal industries by forging new trade relationships and aggressively marketing the high quality products of U.S. producers." Saunders was a member of the USMEF's executive committee for three years prior to her election as Secretary-Treasurer.
