McDonald’s cutting chicken items from menu, evaluating future of Angus burger
McDonald’s Corp. announced that it plans to eliminate its apple walnut salad and chicken selects and is reviewing options for its 1/3-pound Angus burger line. The cuts are being made to make way for new products expected to arrive this spring and summer, reports the Chicago Tribune.
McEnaney Enterprises, a McDonald's franchisee, tweeted about and posted the menu decisions on the company's Facebook page Tuesday. The page is no longer available and the franchisee did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
