Little Lady Foods has recently implemented organizational changes in order to bring more value to its current customer base, potential new prospects and the company. The move is expected to further consolidate Little Lady Foods’ position as the leading custom manufacturer of pizza, gourmet sandwiches and other dough-based frozen products. Steve Kunkle, a food industry veteran joins Little Lady Foods as senior vice president of operations, Don Czerwonka assumes the role as vice president of sales and Dave Foran joined the company as New Business Director.

On April 1, Don Czerwonka who has been with Little Lady Foods for 13 years, was promoted to Vice President of Sales for Little Lady Foods.  In this role he oversees the strategic growth of current customers and their penetration into new markets and new customer bases.  He is responsible for three divisions: foodservice, private label, and contract manufacturing. 

“The sales team at Little Lady Foods prides itself on being category advisors to our respective segments.  Customers trust us to bring innovative menu and category solutions.  I am excited to join a senior management team that wants to continue to bring value-added solutions to the marketplace,” said Czerwonka. 

Steve Kunkle brings 26 years of experience with Kraft to his new position as Senior Vice President of Operations at Little Lady Foods. He joined the company in February 2013 and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and facilities. His goals include developing and implementing a strategic plan to improve asset reliability, product performance and customer service.

“It’s paramount that we improve our overall performance and capabilities in order to seize high growth opportunities,” said Kunkle. “Little Lady has the right foundation to take us to the next level.”

David Foran joined Little Lady Foods in April 2013 and brings more than 24 years of food manufacturing experience to his role as Director of New Business. Key sales goals this year include growing business and bringing Little Lady Foods’ product platforms to new customers and markets.

“I look forward to focusing on product innovation and pursuing markets where Little Lady Foods can expand its presence and build relationships,” said Foran. Prior to joining Little Lady Foods, he worked for major food manufacturing companies such as The Kellogg Company, Safeway, Treehouse Foods, and Mission Foods.
