Deli Star’s comprehensive line of meat products are produced at the USDA state-of-the-art meat processing facility located in Fayetteville, Ill., just outside of St. Louis, Mo. The facility in Fayetteville recently completed a $750,000 interior remodeling in November of 2012. There was a complete interior remodeling of the floor space in the processing room and sanitation room. The expansion accommodated for a new, larger mixer that has improved productivity. In the summer of 2013 Deli Star plans to continue its growth with a $2.6 million expansion.
There are four addition stages to the remodeling:
Stage 1: Security Surveillance and Alarms
Stage 2: Additional cookhouse
Stage 3: Additional chill and cooler capacity
Stage 4: Remodeling of employee welfare area and plant offices
