A fire over the weekend destroyed a Dietz & Watson warehouse in Delanco, N.J. Flames were reported along the roof, about 1:45 p.m. Sunday, reported the Philadelphia Inquirer. The 6-year-old, 300,000-square-foot warehouse stored meats and cheeses from company factories in three states. The warehouse employs more than 130 workers, though it was closed over the weekend. Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
The fire caused the roof and its thousands of solar panels to collapse, reported NBC News. It wasn’t contained until Monday after burning out of control for more than a day.
