Home » Tyson to drop Oklahoma hog farmer as supplier after animal abuse video
Mercy for Animals has released a video showing abuse of hogs at a farm in central Oklahoma. The video depicts workers at the farm striking pigs, including one who threw a bowling ball at a pig’s head.
The animal rights group and Tyson Foods identified the farm in the video as West Coast Farms in Henryetta, which contracts with the food company to raise hogs, reports the Associated Press. Tyson spokesman Gary Mikelson said the company will immediately end its contract with the farm.
