Sponsored by The American Meat Institute, registration is now available for meat and poultry processing facility tours as part of the 2014 International Processing & Production Expo (IPPE). IPPE attendees can tour a beef or poultry processing facility and learn from first-hand experience at either the Birchwood Foods’ facility in Norcross, Ga., or the Tyson Foods’ facility in Cumming, Ga.
Attendees will get an up-close look at food safety processes and worker safety initiatives through a comprehensive tour of the processing plants. A question and answer session with plant staff, exclusive for attendees, will follow the tour. Limited space is available, and processor attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.
