The European Union, in negotiating the terms of a new trade deal with the U.S., is pushing to trademark several different foods, including bratwurst, that have originated in an EU country.
Farmland Foodservice has teamed up with Boulevard Brewing Co. and created a tasty line of Boulevard Bratwurst, available to foodservice operators so they can bring the tailgate right to the customer.
Makowski’s Real Sausage Co., a Chicago, Ill., establishment is recalling approximately 1,305 pounds of cooked bratwurst sausage products because of misbranding and the undeclared allergen, milk, that is not declared on the label.
