Information Resources Inc. (IRI), a provider of consumer, shopper, and market insights for the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, and healthcare industries, has announced that Bernhard Nann, former senior vice president and chief technology officer of Fair Isaac, has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of technology. Nann will report to John Freeland, IRI’s president and CEO.

“Bernhard brings a wealth of technology expertise in the areas of integrated technology, product management, operations and implementation,” said Freeland. “He also brings an extensive record of accomplishment, most recently completing a major integration and centralization of Fair Isaac’s technology functions, which resulted in freeing up development staff to pursue significant new product development projects.”

IRI will integrate all of its technology-related operations under Nann. In addition, he will focus on generating revenue and income from existing and new technology solutions, ensuring client satisfaction with technology deliverables and strengthening technology alliances.

“IRI has developed some of the most innovative technologies available for enabling CPG and retail companies to better track customer activities, providing critical information to their management teams as well as creating technical solutions for converting that information into practical solutions,” said Nann. “I’m eager to work with the IRI team to extend this track record of success and help our customers weather the current difficulties presented by today’s economic environment.”

Nann joined Fair Isaac in 2003 after the company purchased NAREX, founded by Nann in 1995. At Fair Isaac, he held numerous positions during his five year tenure there, starting as vice president, collections and recovery analytics solutions and ending with his current position as senior vice president and chief technology officer.
