Meyn Food Processing Technology B.V. announces new appointment

Meyn Food Processing Technology B.V. announced the appointment of Han Defauwes as the company’s new president and CEO by the Supervisory Board. It is his intention, with 2011 as most successful year in the Meyn history, to continue the company’s international growth. Defauwes joined Meyn in 1998 and was lately active as chief operations officer.

“His extensive experience in the poultry industry, knowledge of the company in combination with his drive and enthusiasm make him the perfect CEO for Meyn,” says former CEO Han van der Broek.

“I am excited about the opportunity to lead Meyn,” said Defauwes. “Meyn’s recognized expertise and complete dedication to poultry processing has resulted in global leadership in poultry processing solutions. The challenge ahead is to leverage that awareness and continue to develop innovative solutions that the market and our customers require.”
