WASHINGTON – The American Meat Institute said late Monday that spaces are still available for the July 15 webinar, “Top Ten Ways To Ensure You Are I-9 Compliant.”

Immigration and hiring law expert Monte Lake of Siff and Lake LLP will offer advice on “best practices” for immigration law compliance.

The webinar is one in a series of summer webinars on topics affecting small and medium businesses in the meat industry. The series is sponsored by the American Meat Institute (AMI), the North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP) the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) and the National Meat Association (NMA).

The webinar will begin at 2 p.m. EDT and will last for approximately 60-75 minutes. Participants need a phone line and an internet connection to take advantage of the webinar.

To register, go to the Events/Education section of www.meatami.com. Registration is $50 for AMI, NAMP, AAMP and NMA members; $150 for non-members.

For more information, contact Marie Ternieden at (202) 587-4228.
