The MEAT INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME® (MIHOF), a non-profit educational organization, has been established to honor U.S. meat, poultry and livestock industry leadership excellence. MIHOF also is dedicated to preserving the history of more than a century-and-half of industry progress, while also educating the consuming public about the contributions of industry leadership. BNP Media is a MIHOF partner among others.

Barbara Young, Editor-In-Chief of The National Provisioner, BNP’s 118-year-old title, is a MIHOF trustee. The 2009 charter class of inductees will be announced this June followed by an official ceremony in October.
