Until now, robot loaders have not been applicable in the meat and cheese industries. CFS together with Sigpack Systems (a Bosch packaging technology company) has developed a dedicated robot loader. A camera is dedicated to each robot; the product is registered against an encoder on the belt to accurately locate and pick the moving product. Especially interesting is the flexibility of the system, which allows different arrangements. Consequently presentation in the pack achieves highest consumer appeal.
