Packaging Solutions Holdings Inc. has named Jon N. Solberg as vice president for business development, effective immediately. Solberg will lead Packaging Solutions Holdings' initiatives in the cheese and meat packaging markets. Packaging Solutions Holdings was founded by Wellspring Capital Management and industry veteran Harold Bevis in 2010.

Prior to Packaging Solutions Holdings, Solberg was product applications manager at PCC Industries. In addition, he was a sales leader at Pliant Corporation; international supply chain director at Commercial Packaging; and director of sales and marketing at American Plastics Co.

Harold Bevis, chairman and CEO of Packaging Solutions Holdings, said, "Two key focus markets of the company will be the cheese and meat segments. We are taking actions to become a primary provider to these customers. We are delighted to add Jon to the team. He has knowledge of the customer landscape and required product/price points in the industry.
